The Commander Pete Oswald Memorial Golf Tournament is an annual event held to provide a day of camaraderie and philanthropy which honors the memory of Commander Pete Oswald, fallen Navy SEAL.
While the pandemic prevents us from holding the tournament this year, we invite you to join us and to remember Pete by supporting the event "at a distance" to raise much needed funds for the Navy SEAL Foundation, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, and Whatcom Dollars for scholars.
An Eagle Scout and 1979 graduate of Sehome High School, Commander Oswald attended Harvey Mudd College for a year prior to entering the United States Naval Academy. At Annapolis, Pete majored in Ocean Engineering, was a three year letterman in football and, in his senior season was voted to the NCAA Division 1A All-East Team at center.
What is a SEAL? He is a common man with an uncommon desire to succeed. A SEAL's unflinching commitment to accomplish his mission is something that cannot be taught. Beyond his rigorous physical training, mental discipline and technological resources, it is his extraordinary innate force of will that ensures a SEAL’s place amongst the pinnacle of elite warriors.
