Navy SEAL Foundation

The Navy SEAL Foundation serves a fundamental role within the U.S. Navy SEAL community providing tragedy assistance for families who have lost a loved one in training or combat; family events and support to uphold morale and camaraderie; educational assistance and scholarships for active duty personnel, their spouses, and children; and preservation of the rich history and heritage of these elite warriors to ensure their contributions are always remembered, recognized, and documented for future generations.

Special Operations Warrior Foundation

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation ensures full financial assistance for a post-secondary degree from an accredited two or four-year college, university, technical, or trade school; and offers family and educational counseling, including in-home tutoring, to the surviving children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special operations personnel who lose their lives in the line of duty. In addition they also provide immediate financial assistance to severely wounded and hospitalized special operations personnel. In 2019, the SOWF earned their 14th consecutive 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. The 4-star rating is the highest awarded by Charity Navigator and less than 1% of charities evaluated are scored at this level.

Whatcom Dollars for Scholars

Whatcom Dollars for Scholars (WDFS) is a local non-profit organization which provides scholarships to attend college or other post-secondary education to the graduating seniors of our four high schools in Bellingham, WA. Since 2002, over 500 scholarships totaling more than $464,000 have been awarded.
